About This Spot

Stepping into Spiceland Indian Grocery feels a little like opening a door to a warmly cluttered corner of a distant market—vivid colors of spices stacked in glass jars, fresh vegetables familiar and unknown resting side-by-side, and shelves that beckon exploration. The pace here is unhurried and welcoming, inviting visitors to linger a moment longer than they might have planned, discovering ingredients and flavors that inspire curiosity and creativity.

The atmosphere carries a quiet hum of community and care. The owners' friendly presence adds a comforting layer, making the store less of a typical grocery and more like a neighborhood gathering spot where conversations flow naturally alongside helpful suggestions. It’s a place where the novice cook and the seasoned food enthusiast alike find encouragement to broaden their culinary horizons, all guided by gentle expertise and a genuine passion for authentic Indian flavors.

Exploring Spiceland is not just about ingredients—it’s a gentle invitation to dive deeper into the stories behind them. From fresh produce like okra and eggplants to the little surprises tucked on the shelves, each discovery nudges you to imagine meals rich with tradition and flavor. The aroma of fresh samosas or ready-to-go dishes offers a quiet promise of comfort and nourishment that lingers beyond the visit.

This grocery is particularly suited for those who appreciate the slow joy of cooking and learning, where every product is a small chapter in a much larger cultural tapestry. Here, authenticity is tangible—not through grand proclamations, but in the warm exchanges, the care put into selecting products, and the approachable way they invite everyone to become a bit more adventurous in their kitchen.

This is the BEST local store I’ve been to. Before going to this store, I had only had Indian food from a few restaurants in the Cincinnati area. Spiceland’s food puts all other Indian food I’ve had to shame. I have been trying to expand on food types and recipes that I cook and I’m not always familiar with ingredients outside of what I grew up with. I’ve decided to support more local businesses that are owned by local owners that aren’t owned by large corporations. It’s time to put more money into the local community and families. Spiceland is the best!

Amazing store and such sweet owners! There’s soooo much to look at and try, it definitely makes me want to venture out and learn how to cook dishes with the plethora of ingredients/products they have. I got a little bit of everything to try and the carry away butter chicken. It was so delicious! The chicken was juicy and the sauce was incredible. I will definitely be coming back

I needed ingredients to make a traditional Chana Masala and naan bread. This place is great. They were extremely helpful. They offered a ton of tips.

This is my favorite spot on Clarksville. If you’re ever in the area it’s close to the Green Tree Mall near the Ollies and it’s absolutely worth the stop. The man at the counter is very friendly and they have a great selection of items in stock. The prices are reasonable for authentic Indian products and the fresh food at the counter is delicious. I have to get the samosas every time and try anything new available! I come to get frozen meals for my work lunches and everyone comments on how good they smell. It’s important to support our local businesses and this is one I’ll be stopping at as often as I can

The grab and go food section is absolutely awesome. It is in the fridges on the left side of the store. We had butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Both were total hits. They also have fresh desserts up front! Do not miss the kulfi popsicles in the freezer up by the register, they were so rich and yummy. As for groceries, it seems they have everything Indian you could possibly want! Owner was super kind to us as well. Please support this business!

Great local place with a variety of delicious options including some home made meals. All meat is halal. It's crazy to me someone left a 1 star review over wanting to gamble essentially. There's literally a gas station across the road lol. Anyway if you'd like some good food items and competitive prices definitely stop in and support local!
